Most people react positively to hearing about what is in it for them so presenting reasons and perks is a good way to sway your reader’s opinion.
While you definitely don’t want to be short on reasons why your product, service, cause is the best, you also do not want it to drag on for three pages. This will just make you seem desperate and may lessen your credibility.
Make sure you achieve the perfect balance between stating your case, keeping your reader’s interested, and not seeming desperate.
Close your letter by reminding them of what you are offering them. This will ensure that they have your cause as the last thing on their mind, making them consider your pitch more.
